Everyone,
I hope everyone had fun at the court of honor on Saturday. Thank you Mr. Barker for
all the work you do getting the awards ready. Several of the parents were talking
and we would like you to teach our kids how to change clothes that fast. If you
have no idea what I am talking about, you should have been at the court of honor. Thank
you cooks for getting the food ready. You did a wonderful job.
We did not have the required amount of scouts present to have the SPL election at
the court of honor. We need 30, or 2/3 of the registered scouts, present. So, we
will be having the elections tonight at the meeting. We need everyone to attend. If
you will not be able to attend, please send me your vote for SPL and I will compile
a list to be added to the ballots tonight. The nominees are B. Currie, J. Holder,
and K. Norris. If you are sending me your vote, please have them to my by 5:30 PM.
There is still room for more to attend the Rowing/Canoeing campout next weekend. If
you are interested please sign up. We could use some more adult help if you are
available. We will be sleeping in cabins with A/C Saturday night.
