Everyone,
We have a flag ceremony this next Sunday at Memorial Baptist. I just added the
sign up sheet to the calendar. We need about 4 scout and 2 adults to sign up. They church will
provide the flags, we just need scout to present the colors. This is one way
we can help out the church and give back to them for providing us a meeting
place. This will count toward rank advancement for those working on Second
Class or First Class. Please sign up soon so that we know who can
attend. The time
on the web site may be update and adjusted as necessary depending on when they
would like the scouts to arrive.
There is a PLC meeting tonight for all those youth with a leadership position.
We will not be meeting on Monday, July 5, due to the holiday. For those that
are traveling, please have a safe trip. The next meeting will be on July 12.
There is only a few weeks left until summer camp. Please get your medical forms
completed and turned in. Have you finished your prerequisites for your merit
badges? Many have requirements that need to be completed ahead of time in
order to finish the merit badges at camp. Check the embedded chart with the
white background on the Camp Hale page for specific requirements. It is more
difficult to complete merit badges here at home when the troop doesn't have a
counselor for a particular merit badge.

Zip Line

Meet at Church at the Cross Saturday @ 6:45 AM, having eaten
breakfast.
Return Approximately 4:00 PM.
Cost About $50 per person that participates,
no cost for adults that do not do the zip line.
