Everyone,
Tonight's meeting is a PLC. All youth with a troop position are required to be there;
a uniform is not necessary. The meeting should be fairly short, so please plan
your transportation accordingly.
This is a reminder for the ones that I talked to at the last about being on the
Eagle Board of Review at 7:00 PM tonight. The district has confirmed their board chair will
be at the meeting and the candidate has confirmed his attendance as well. There
are a couple of other boards that also need to be completed tonight. If several
adults could stay to complete the boards, that would be great.
Here is an updated on Gilbert Jordan. As many of you know, he has been in the
hospital at Baylor Grapevine for over a week now with pneumonia. They did a
lung biopsy last week. No date on departure, but like all of us would be, he is
ready to go home. Keep him in your prayers. The troop sent flowers. When he is ready
to leave Mr. Corona and Mr. Norris are planning on taking a fully loaded backpack
for his walk out to the car to make sure he is building up his strength for the July
trip.
