Everyone,
There is a change of plans for one of the merit badge college classes. After
reading the requirement in more detail and after talking to me, Mr. Ganucheau
suggested that we might want to wait on the American Business merit badge. The
last requirement is for the scout to run a business for 3 months. Although not
impossible, this requirement may not be feasible for too many scouts right now.
Mr. Ganucheau will still work with any youths that would like to start the merit
badge. As a replacement for Monday, he will instead be teaching the Fingerprinting
merit badge. Please bring a workbook if you want to work on this one. You do not
need a merit badge book for this class, just the workbook. Citizenship
in the World will also be taught on Monday. A book and the workbook is recommended
for it.
I downloaded all the current merit badge workbooks yesterday and put them on the
troop site. When you click the name of the merit badge in the list, you will get
the latest version.
Mr. Carter has been working on adding the troop to Facebook and Twitter. If you
would like to use those sites for troop updates and information, please click on
the icons towards the top of the left-hand navigator. These are still in the
early stages of development and may be changing.
