Everyone,
The registration for the ZIP Line activity has been extended through tomorrow until
5:00 PM. If you are planning on going, please sign up very soon. We will have to have
a final count and pay for the activity, so please only sign if you are sure you
can go. Any one not showing up will have to pay anyway. The price is set at $65 for
those that are participating in the activity. Adults that go, but don't do the ZIP
line will not have to pay. There will be two documents on the event sign up
form poste soon on the website that must be completed and turned in by each participant
prior to leaving for the event.
The on-line popcorn selling has been extended through December 15. The normal ordering
has already been turned in. As a reminder, each scout in the unit is expected to
sell $150 worth of popcorn or pay a buy-out fee of $75. The on-line orders count
toward this total and can be verified by Mr. Glen. If you sold some popcorn but
less than $150, please see Mr. Glen, Mr. Corona or myself to discuss a prorated
fee.
M. Purdy's Eagle Court of Honor has been placed on the calendar. This event
will take place at the National Scout Museum on November 22, 2009, at 6:00 PM. This
is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Refreshments will be served and the museum
will be open to go through after the ceremony. If you are going, please send in
one registration form per family with a total count that can be used to plan for the
total number of attendees.
Recharter fees are due on Monday, November 16, at the regular troop meeting.
Due to a scheduling conflict with the church, the Electronics Campout/Webelos Open
House will not take place on December 11-12, 2009. We have asked for a different
date in January and once approved the calendar will be updated for the new date.
