Everyone,
I have a couple of things for you this week:
First, just a reminder that we do not have a regular meeting tomorrow, October 13, 2008.
This is due to Columbus Day. Enjoy the time off with your family. We will meet again
for the next meeting on Monday, October 20, 2008.
Note: October
20, 2008 is also the day that popcorn orders are due.
Tuesday is the last day to sign up for Score-O. At this time we are very
short in adult participation. We need more adults and at least one that can
pull the trailer. If we don't get enough help, we will be forced to cancel the
event or turn it into a day trip for those that want to do the orienteering course.
Wednesday, October 15, 2008, is the last day to sign up for Six Flags. We currently
don't have any adults signed up and need at least 2.
The University of Scouting Adult Leader Training will be held on November 8, 2008, at
the Tarrant County Community College, Northeast Campus, in Hurst. The class times
will be from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The cost is $10. For more information and to register, see the

Recharter fees are due in a little over a month. Please turn in the $75 before
November 17, 2008.
