Everyone,

Due to a personal injury, J. Lippert's Eagle Project fund raiser project has been postponed. This will be rescheduled when he is healed. He had surgery several days ago to pin a broken leg, so a car wash is probably not a good idea at this point. The calendar will be updated once this has been rescheduled.

All scouts 13 and up, along with their parent(s) are invited to attend an information meeting about Venturing this Monday night at the meeting. Please come and hear what Venturing is about and found out the high adventure things that Venture scouts can do that Boy Scouts can't. This just a meeting to see if there is interest in forming a unit in our troop.

The Six Flags day trip is being moved to October 25, 2008, due to the time it takes to get tickets. Tickets will be $21 each. Siblings are welcome to attend if their parent comes. We need as many adults as possible to help keep track of the boys. Siblings will be the responsibility of their parents. The web form needs to be updated with selections for the number of tickets. This will probably occur by this next Tuesday and sign ups can begin immediately.

Score-O is available for signups now. If you will be attending, please sign up soon so that we can plan transportation and get registered with the Council.

Don't forget to start collecting aluminum cans from your family and neighbors and possible work. Once you have a full trash bag of crushed cans, just bring them to a Monday night meeting. Let me know how many bags you bring each time and I will log it in. Also popcorn orders are due October 20th.
