Everyone,
Just a reminder that tomorrow, Monday, August 25, is the last day to sign up for the
Troop 4 Court of Honor that will take place on Saturday, September 6. If you would like to
go and have dinner, please sign by tomorrow evening. If you don't want to eat, you can still come
to the Court of Honor and there will not be any charge. We would still like for you to register so that
we can plan for seating. Just select zero for the number of meal tickets and put the number of
seats needed in the comments and state that you would just like to attend the Court of Honor, but
will not be eating.
We will be having Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) speeches tomorrow at the regular meeting. Please come
and listen to the speeches so that you will know who you would like to vote for at the Court of
Honor.
We will NOT have a meeting the following week on Monday, September 1 due to the Labor Day holiday.
Please enjoy the time with your family and have a safe trip if you are traveling.
J. Lippert will be having the second part of his fund raiser for his Eagle project on Sunday, September 14.
This will take place at the same location at the Autozone in Bedford. The signup sheet is on the
calendar. If you are not able to make an entire shift, but would still like to participate, just
list the times you can be there in the comments on the web registration form.
The Leadership Training Campout is September 19 - 21. All those that hold a troop leadership position,
including those that will be appointed the week after the Court of Honor, are required to attend. The adults
will not be teaching this year, but as usual, will be cooking for the scouts so that they can focus
on the training. Please come and help out.

This fun activity will be held at Main Event in Grapevine. The cost for each participant, including
adults that play, is $15. However, there are only 4 adults slots. If you really want to play, please put that in the
comments when you register.
Drop-off and pickup will be at Main Event.
