Everyone,
There are a few things that I
want to let you know about:
Main Event
There is still time to sign up for Main Event tomorrow (Saturday, August 16, 2008). Times
and information are on the calendar below.
Troop 4 Court Of Honor
The court of honor will be on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 1:30 PM.
The sign up sheet and meal information are on the web. You can find the information by following the link on the
calendar. The last day to sign up for this event is Thursday, August 25th.
Scouting for Adventure - TV Program
As many of you know, the camera guys from the Outdoor Channel were at Camp Hale taping while
we were at summer camp. We were told that they would be filming at three different Scout
camps in order to create a series called Scouting for Adventure. These camps were to included
Camp Hale, Philmont and Florida Sea Base. It appears that the first of the shows has already
started airing. This week is the Scuba Adventure show. The next time it airs is tomorrow (Saturday, August
16, 2008, at 1:00 PM). I haven't seen the show yet, but have it scheduled to tape. If you are
interested, you can see the
schedule and information on the Outdoor Channel web site.
Pack 4 - Cub Roundup
Pack 4's annual cub roundup is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2008,
from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. This
will take place at Heritage Elementary school. Any Boy Scout that would like to volunteer
to help and to earn some service
hours are welcome. Boy Scouts will assist in leading games,
crafts and/or outdoor activities. The sign up sheet is on the calendar.

This fun activity will be held at Main Event in Grapevine. The cost for each participant, including
adults that play, is $15. However, there are only 4 adults slots. If you really want to play, please put that in the
comments when you register.
Drop-off and pickup will be at Main Event.
