Everyone,

For Parents who expressed an interest in helping coordinate the Court of Honor meal on Saturday, Sept 9th at 1:30pm or if you think you might help in any way, please come to a planning meeting during the tonight's meeting.

Tonight's meeting will cover Philmont.  There is not a specific parents meeting planned, but parents are welcome to stay and see what Philmont is all about.

There should also be time to continue working on the Fishing Merit Badge. If your scout cleaned and cooked a fish this week and if they have not sent in the pictures already, please bring a print out of the pictures tonight and Mr. Smith will get the requirement signed off. We can work on knots required for the merit badge and the scouts can fish as needed.

As always, the Assistant Scoutmasters will be around to sign any rank requirements the scouts are prepared to explain, demonstrate or learn. There are still several scout's books that I have not signed from summer camp for things like the 5 mile hike and the drug and alcohol awareness session. If your scout has only completed the first physical fitness test for Tenderfoot and it has been more than 30 days, we can get the second one completed tonight as well. There should be several scouts that need this. Bring running shoes and a water bottle.

6 Flag Ceremony for Church at the Cross
VIEW THE ROSTER		 Church at the Cross We need 6 scouts (4 in ceremony and 2 backups) and 2 adults to lead a flag ceremony during  the patriotic church service.  Those attending will be expected to remain at the service until it is over. This is a full Class A uniform event. Meeting time 9:30 A.M.

This fun activity will be held at Main Event in Grapevine. The cost for each participant, including adults that play, is $15. However, there are only 4 adults slots. If you really want to play, please put that in the comments when you register.
Drop-off and pickup will be at Main Event.
